General Waste

General household and shed items including

  • Furniture
  • Appliances

Excludes builders waste, soil, tree stumps, palm trunks.

  • Garden clipping
  • Grass
  • Leaves
  • Small branches

Excludes soil, treated timber, tree stumps, large branches with a diameter greater than 20cm and palm trunks.

Builders Waste

Waste typical of a building site suck as:

  • Gyprock
  • Treated timber
  • Plastics
  • Masonry
  • Concrete
  • Rubble
  • Tiles (including ceramic)

Excludes tree stumps, palm trunks and asbestos. Please also note that according to EPA guidelines all fibro must be treated as asbestos unless already proven otherwise.

Soil only. No rocks, pebbles, clay etc can contaminate the soil.

Green Waste

  • Garden clipping
  • Grass
  • Leaves
  • Small branches

Excludes soil, treated timber, tree stumps, large branches with a diameter greater than 20cm and palm trunks.

Clean Dirt

Also known as “fill”

Soil only. No rocks, pebbles, clay etc can contaminate the soil.

Recyclable Masonry

Concrete with no reinforcing metal, roof tiles, bricks, tiles (not ceramic).

Asbestos

We do hire bins specifically for asbestos disposal but before you start demolishing it by yourself we highly recommend visiting the NSW EPA guidelines.

Asbestos must be treated separately and appropriately by arrangement. If asbestos is found in your bin expensive protocols are required by law and will be followed at your expense.

Additional Information

Due to additional charges at the tip face we need to charge additional fees for the following:

  • Mattresses: $40 per mattress
  • Car tyres: $30 per tyre
  • Truck tyres: $40 per tyre

The following items cannot go into skip bins:

  • Gas bottles,
  • Liquid paint,
  • Wet concrete,
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Food waste.

Asbestos must be treated separately and appropriately by arrangement.

Tree stumps & Palm trucks can be disposed of but need prior arrangement as additional fees do apply.
