Asbestos

We do hire bins specifically for asbestos disposal but before you start demolishing it by yourself, we highly recommend visiting the NSW EPA guidelines.

Asbestos must be treated separately and appropriately by arrangement. If asbestos is found in your bin, expensive protocols are required by law and will be followed at your expense. Additional fines may also apply.

Please also note that according to EPA guidelines, all fibro must be treated as asbestos unless already proven otherwise.

Additional Information

Due to additional charges at the tip face we need to charge additional fees for the following:

  • Mattresses – $80 each

  • Tyres – $40 each

  • Gas Bottles – $25 each

The following items cannot go into any skip bins:

  • Liquids of any kind

  • Wet concrete

  • Hazardous chemicals

  • Food waste
